The Best Views of Zion at an A-Frame Airbnb

On our Vegas trip, we decided to take a break from the strip and headed out to tour the Hoover Dam and WOW —

It was such a wild sight to see. I am not a fan of heights but it normally doesn't bother me. Here, I definitely felt a little dizzy looking straight down lol. It was worth it though.

Too fast, too furious —

We rented this fun car on Turo to stay at this amazing eco-friendly A-frame cabin we found on Airbnb on our actual anniversary. If you or your partner are car fanatics, Turo is a great way to rent and experience different types of cars. It’s basically the “Airbnb” for car rentals. We always rent cars through Turo during our trips because it's usually more cost-effective too.

PRO TIP: If you need a car for a photo shoot, Turo is a great resource for that too!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Depending on the time of year you travel to Zion, bug spray is recommended and warm clothing for nighttime. We searched for bug spray when we got to Zion and couldn’t find any. Luckily, we didn’t end up needing any. We were comfortable at night with a hoodie and sweatpants when we went to bed. The Airbnb did come equipped with a little heater and a small AC unit that we didn’t end up needing.

The convertible door was easy to prop open and we left it open most of our stay and enjoyed the scenic views from the bed and the observation deck.

After we checked in and got settled, we drove up to the local grocery store and grabbed food to grill for dinner and planned to sit by the fire to enjoy each other's company and celebrate our wedding anniversary. The stuffed mushrooms were SO GOOD and we definitely should’ve gotten more than two.

WHAT WE WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY FOR NEXT TIME

Next time, we will definitely stay more than one night so we can take advantage of the location and plan to do an actual hike in Zion, which we learned is approximately 30 min away from our Airbnb. Although, our host did let us know there were plenty of closer trails near our cabin as well.

10/10 would highly recommend this glamping trip. It was nice to be unplugged. There was no wi-fi but there was still cell service should you need to use your phone.
